Deep down inside the earth, lies the very force of earth, in the form of undying heat that melts even rocks, into the burning lava, and here i am trying to recreate that scene out of my imagination, through one of my creations, the LAVABED diorama. and this one is also my first diorama set consisted of two-piece diorama that can stand alone or combined as one out of the two pieces. more info after the break
heavily inspired by battle scenes in various popular media, i try to bring out those scenes into one solid object that i can use as backgrounds for toys photography
as far as i could imagine, somewhere inside the crater lies a spot or two that does not have lava flowing above it, and they kinda refer the spot as LAVABED
and there are lava flowing from a higher place to the lower one... in this case i take reference from saint seiya the lost canvas' blood waterfall in the underworld where the protagonist, pegasus Tenma fights illusion the demon tree created, while he climbed the bloody waterfall, that is the moment it burns into my memory
as a kid i played a lot of game, one of them and still my all time favourite is NINJA : shadow of darkness by eidos, there is this stage where the player must face the wild environment inside a volcano, striking enemies while he jumps from one LAVABED to another, and that left a great impression on me
a view from above, the difference on the red colors sometimes frustrates me, and i try not to notice it :))
a view from the left side as a whole set
a stand-alone one piece set. with double wall
kamen rider black on the LAVABED, kinda dangerous
ah where is this? i gotta get the hell out of here
BATTLEHOPPER!! come here and get me
ah you a good dog, i mean a good hopper~

i am most certainly loved the wall details but the size makes a real setback on it, i gotta consider making one in a bigger dimension and a bit more sophisticated than this, probably carrying along a same theme
